Apple Chips

The people around me know that I love to snack all day. Of course preferably sweets but also fruits and nuts. Because my goal is to eat less sugar I was looking for a great alternative. And then I came across apple chips. They are made pretty fast and if you consume them moderately they are also pretty healthy – the rule says that the portion of dried fruits should not be bigger than the portion of fruits you would eat when undried. I’ve cut the apples with a sharp knife, greased the oven grid and dried the apples for one hour at 100 °C. If you like the apples to be really crunchy then you should let them in the oven for a little longer – I like if they are a little moist that’s why 1 hour was perfect! You have to try it!
