Last weekend it was finally time for our weekend trip to Vienna. The lovely Verena-Annabella from WhoisMocca? and me, went together to Vienna on Friday morning. Besides visiting the McArhur Glen Designer Outlet in Parndorf, a short shopping trip to the city center (after our blogger date with the girls), we also went to the Secondtouch luxury flea market at Wiener Werkstätte. With the VIP ticket (which only costs 2€ more than the standard ticket – so 12 €), we could already enter the location one hour before the official start. The flea market was on two floors and there were a lot of stalls. You could find everything from fur coats, cashmere scarfs, various designer shoes and bags. I was really surprised because assortment and quality were better than I thought. My goal of the day was to get an exemplar of the mother of all bags: Chanel. On the first floor I eyed with a beautiful model but to get a used designer piece only scarcely below the original price wasn’t justifiable. Some minutes later I discovered another chanel bag on the lower floor and immediately fell in love with it. Of course its price left me speechless for a while and I put it back again. Two other women took notice of the bag straightaway and then I knew: I wanna have it! But I guess that’s how women are. If you can’t have it you want it even more. After short negotiations, the first women let up on it and the second interested party didn’t have so much cash. My chance! After a little bargaining she was mine – a detailed post about it you’ll find shortly. As if this wasn’t enough I also bought myself a baby Louis Vuitton bag. Whereby you can’t call it a bag – I guess I’ll use it as a change bag and key fob. This was a really spontaneous purchase only minutes before we left. There was also a really pretty Louis Vuitton Speedy 40, a Rocco bag from Alexander Wang and a couple of Balenciaga bags. Therefore I would really recommend every fashionista to visit the Secontdtouch luxury flea market because you can get pretty designer bags for affordable prices. For those bargains its really worth the journey and overnight stay in Vienna.
Which designer piece would be the one that you couldn't resist buying?
