I still associate the beginning of a new school year with buying new clothes for the new season. As a kid you always wanted to look great on the first day of school and I always loved to go there (less because of the school itself, more because of my friends and the beloved breaks). Since I can't go to school anymore I still find it quite motivating to know that also pupils/students have to get up again every morning after a decent 9(!) weeks Summer break. Fun fact: when I was at university I assumed that you also get 9 weeks off when you work. Well, dream on!
However I got myself some pretty new things last week and just in time for the first school day I wore my new chequered blazer today at work. The boots have to wait until they have their first appearance but I'm already looking forward to wear them soon!
