I've published my first 'My Top 5' post already quite some time ago. There I was writting about my most liked DIY blogs. Today I would like to show you my top 5 personal fashion & lifestyle blogs. This is definitely my favorite category because my own blog goes into the same direction. These girls don't just show their own fashion style but also beauty tips, recipes, decor inspiration and personal things (two of them already have a family on their own and another one is going to be a mommy soon - therefore you also get to know a lot about their families and you see tons of cute baby pics). These blogs aren't called personal fashion & lifestyle blogs for nothing because they are really personal and could partially be compaired with a diary. I really love these blogs and I'm really glad the girls share so much with us. They are all very tangible and open-hearted and that's why they are so successful. One of these blogs was my biggest inspiration when creating Elastyle - I wanted my blog to be very personal too and my wish was to share my life with my readers. Have fun browsing!

I discovered Emily’s blog back at university when I was searching for great blogs for my course called Online Brandling. Cupcakes & Cashmere was a great inspiration for me when creating my blog because she has the perfect mix of posts. Besides great outfit posts, there are creative DIY’s, personal posts and many more. Emily reached a lot with her blog already: she designer a bag with coach, her capsule collection with Club Monaco launched last year, her second book will release this spring (the first was already a bestseller), and so on. I’m really looking forward to every post she does especially because it takes me back to the time when I lived in California. I’m also looking forward to get to know her little daughter as Emily and her husband are becoming parents in a few weeks for the first time – I’m really curious how she will combine kid and blog. I really hope we’ll get to see her little one!
Caitlin lives in Arizona and her style is amazing! She’s wearing the most beautiful dresses and combines check shirts with chucks in such an impressive way that even I like it (generally I’m not the biggest fan of sneakers). Her pictures are incredible which is really an important part when blogging. Besides fashion she also shows us beauty tips and her favorite beauty products. A Little Dash Of Darling is really well structured and great to look at. I love her casual style which is often really feminine and sweet – totally my style!
What shall I say: that hair! Amber is not making a secret about her wearing clip in extensions but what she’s doing with it is amazing. She’s creating various braids that you can only dream of. I already tried to recreate a few and I can tell you, it’s not really easy but with the help of her great videos doable. I think she really has a great feeling of how to combine clothes and with her hair she’s underlining each look! She’s living with her husband and their baby Atticus in New York City. When I saw her first pictures on Instagram I asked myself how old she would be, because she looks so young (she is 1 year younger than me!). In any case hats off to this young lady, who still finds the time besides her baby, dog and husband to style herself the way she does and sharing it all with us!
The name of Cathy’s blog says it all. She set herself the goal to find pretty things under $100 because she thinks that fashion doesn’t have to be expensive. I like her attitude and I have to admit that those blogs are way more fun because you get the chance to recreate the styles (in a 2.000 € dress from Dolce & Gabbana paired with 500 € Valentino Rockstud heels everyone looks great so that is not a big fashion talent in my eyes). The little lady from Washington doesn’t stop when it comes to tulle, midi skirts and bold lipstick. That is what makes her unique and her blog an inherent part of my top 5 fashion & lifestyle blogs.
When I look at Emily’s pictures I’m almost melting. Often she shows her sweet kids and her life with her family. This is probably the perfect, little family. That’s at least how it looks like on the pictures. Just like Amber from Barefoot Blonde she’s still mastering to look amazing besides her family. Not only her but also her kids already have a great fashion style. I would even go so far that I would wish that my kids would also look so sweet one time. I really love how she’s showing her daughter in a playful way how to deal with fashion so that she can grow with it. Not only the family’s fashion style is something I like but also their stylish decoration of their home. Emily’s blog offers so much inspiration and is always a feast for the eyes!
