Some of you might know that we had my sister's bachelorette party on the weekend. As a maid of honor it was my task to plan this party and make it a special evening for the bride to be. I already started the planning a couple of weeks ago and Julia didn't know what I planned. She only knew when it would take place but other than that she had no information at all. It was really a surprise for her and she was beyond happy - a true success! We went to a Dirndl-Party (like a little Oktoberfest) and before we had drinks at home and went to a burger restaurant.

For the drinks at home I wanted to have something special for my sister, something selfmade so. Some time a go I got these cookie cutters from a friend and I've never used them so far. I've used this basic recipe and decorated the cookies with royal icing and sugar pearls. For the royal icing you need 1 egg white, 150 g powdered sugar and 1 TSP of water. You mix all the ingridients until it's like toothpaste and really shiny (10 min). I've then put the icing in two different bowls and added red food coloring to the one bowl. You just blend that in with a eggbeater and you have to make sure that the color is spread equally.

The cookies turned out to be super-sweet! I hope you like them!
