The second week of fasting is over. It feels like time went by pretty fast and fasting seems to become easier and easier for me. This week I've hit the gym three times, I am really motivated and I'm not looking for any more excuses. Meanwhile I feel much fitter than two weeks ago. A great effect is that my clothes do fit much better now. The highlight of the week was that I could wear the camouflage trousers I got myself at the beginning of the year for a shooting. I've never worn them because they were slightly too tight when I bought them. Now the fit me perfectly and I would love to wear them each day. 

Besides doing a lot of sports, my diet was also a big topic this week. I finally found unsweetened porridge. I bought one with fruit in the other week and I couldn't eat it because it was so sweet. I prefer to sweeten my breakfast on my own with fresh berries, bananas and other fruit. For lunch I often cooked myself something the night before and brought it to work. Due to the fact that I'm a big fan of bulgur I'd like to share this recipe of stuffed peppers with you:

  • 1 cup bulgur
  • 1/2 package Feta
  • 3 peppers
  • Salt and pepper
  • Herbs 
  • Parmesan

Boil 4 cups of water, add bulgur and cook it until the water soaked in. Cut feta into pieces and mix it with the bulgur. Cut peppers in halves (this way you can put in more stuffing), hollow them out and fill with bulgur. Season with salt and pepper and put them in the oven  (150°C) for 15 min. Serve with herbs and Parmesan.
