DIY Pom-Poms

I love good DIY projects that have a major impact. Just like these selfmade pom-poms. They are the perfect summer decoration for any outdoor or indoor party you're hosting. They are also the perfect addition to my DIY Outdoor Candle Jars from last year. You could also make them a bit smaller and use them as napkin rings. Here's how you make them:

All you need: tissue paper, scissors, cord

Step 1: Stack 8 sheets of tissue. Make accordion folds, creasing with each fold.

Step 2: Fasten the tissue paper with a cord and trim ends into rounded shapes.

Step 3: Separate layers, pulling from the center. One at a time.

Step 4: Finally, pull layers into right order to create a round shape. Depending on the usage you can further attach a cord to hang it.

Final product.
