Khaki Smokey Eyes

I have so many eye beauty products I could do the make up for an entire army. I love eye liner and eye shadow because it can make you look like a different person every day. When I was younger I used to have smokey eyes on every night out with my friends. Now I feel a bit disguised when I do the normal black and grey smokey eyes. I prefer this khaki green version better, especially now where I found this great eye liner from Smashbox.

All you need: eyelash curler, eye shadow palette, eye shadow brush, blender brush and mascara.

Step 1: Curl your lashes and apply the brightest eye shadow – Highlighter – under your eyebrows and all over your lid .

Step 2: Apply the middle color along your entire eyelid.

Step 3: To create the smokey effect, use the darkest eyeshadow. Start at the outside corner of your eye, and sweep the brush in a half-moon motion up and around to the center of your crease. Feel free to draw the shadow up towards the end of your eyebrow to create a cat eye.

Step 4: Now apply a khaki green eye liner on the upper lash line. You can also draw your eyeliner towards the end of your eyebrow to intensify the cat eye effect.

Step 5: Apply two coats of mascara and you’re all set.
